The tennis Club offers the students in Years 7 – 10 the opportunity to play both intra and inter-school competitions.
For Years 7 – 9 the school enters the HSBC Road to Wimbledon competition where students play a knockout competition to decide a school winner. This player then progresses to the City round and the winner progress until the National Final which takes place at Wimbledon.
We also enter the Aegon U13 and U15 National Cup Competition. This begins with a Gloucestershire League and the winners of each age group progress to the South West knockout stage.
2008 - U15’s - Gloucestershire Winners and reached the Quarter Finals of South West Knockout.
2009 - U13’s - Gloucestershire Winners and lost in the Final of south West Knockout.
The Gloucestershire League takes place in the summer term and the South West Knockouts follow in the Autumn term.
The Club is open to all players.
Coaching is available in the summer term and will take place after school.
