Cross-country at Sir Thomas Rich’s

Looking for Sports Results and Fixtures?

Cross-country running is a major games option for Sixth Form pupils in the Winter.  Cross Country is taken part in by all pupils in Games lessons as part of a Health and Fitness block.

Competition elsewhere

Fixtures are held for all age groups and boys are given the opportunity to qualify for the National Championships by running in County and Regional events. In addition, the School enters national events such as the ESAA Cross Country Championships and the Sixth Form compete in the West Mercia League. House Cross Country takes place in all year groups with an expectation that everyone is to run for their House.
