Looking for Sports Results and Fixtures?

Basketball is provided as a main games option for all pupils in the Sixth Form, when pupils are given the opportunity to train twice a week and compete in regular fixtures against other schools. It is also taught as part of the curriculum in Years 8 and 9 in Physical Education lessons and as a Games option in Year 10. The School runs a Senior team who have been very successful in recent years along with an Under 15 and an u14 team. The u14 team recently won the Gloucester District Championship in 2010.Training and matches take place in our full-size sports hall and coaching is provided by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. House matches are organised for all pupils throughout the school.

Training Sessions: Monday afterschool 3.40-4.40pm and Wednesday Lunchtime 1.20pm -2.00pm

Team Membership - Team consists of memebers of Y10-Y13 and are scouted through training days, and participation in Basketball as a Senior Games option

Fixtures - The team is growing and the fixtures timetable is growing rapidly, opponents include: Crypt, Bourneside, GlosCol, Beaufort, St Peter's, Churchdown and Bishop's Cleeve.
