Isaac Williams - who has just left Year 13 with excellent A Level results - met Hollywood composer and legend Danny Elfman whilst rehearsing with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain this summer. The Orchestra performed the London premiere of Elfman’s specially commissioned ‘Wunderkammer’ at the Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms on 6 August. Amongst many film credits, Danny has scored 17 Tim Burton films, he wrote all the songs for a Nightmare Before Christmas and is famous for composing the themes to the iconic US television series, The Simpsons, Desperate Housewives and Thirtysomething.

Isaac leaves Rich's with excellent A Level results (three A stars and an A) to study violin at Trinity College of Music. We wish him all the very best in his studies and will follow his musical career with interest!

The performance along with footage of the NYO rehearsing is available on BBC iPlayer.
