There are two choral groups, an Orchestra, Jazz Group, Brass Group and String Group, which meet regularly during the year. Some groups such as the Guitar Ensemble, Early Music Consort and various folk/ rock groups meet on a more ad hoc basis. Two instrumental concerts, House Music, a staged production, two carol services, and a large choral concert are regularly presented each year.
Choir and Chamber Choir – membership for both is by audition or invitation. The Choirs perform regularly both in and outside school.
Orchestra, Brass Group, String Group and Jazz Group – These ensembles are open to any player of at least grade 4 standard, and if you are receiving instrumental lessons at school you are expected to attend one or more of them. They offer the opportunity to play in groups in a wide variety of musical styles. All groups feature in two concerts given respectively in the Spring and Summer terms.
